Fat Shaft Tour
Cast Irons The new Fat Shaft
Tour Cast irons have been constructed with perimeter weighted midsize cast
heads with minor progressive offset for easy alignment on set-up. The
traditional head shape with its thin top line will appeal to the
accomplished player who demands more from his or her clubs. The Wilson Fat
Shaft is 35% bigger than a standard size shaft where you need it most, at
the tip. One of the most important yet least emphasized performance
variables in a shaft is torque - less torque means less twisting - less
twisting equates into greater accuracy. The optimal way to produce less
torque is to widen the shaft near the clubhead. Fat Shaft technology
results in a significantly larger tip diameter which provides maximum
stability and less twisting
